Big Hello World

In this first-ever article (the Hello World, the first part of any software), we’ll share our goals, what to expect, and the idea behind DummyTechDev.

Hello to everybody,

Welcome to DummyTechDev. We are super happy to announce the opening of DummyTechDev today.

In this first-ever article (the Hello World, the first part of any software), we’ll share our goals, what to expect, and the idea behind DummyTechDev.

What is DummyTechDev?

You guys are probably familiar with these search sentences when Googling:

  • How to X for dummies?
    • How to create a component in VueJS for dummies?
    • How to do a social login in NextJS for dummies?
  • Learn to Y for dummies?
    • Learn Laravel Authentication for dummies.
    • Learn TailwindCSS in simple terms for dummies.

“Dummies” here is not an offensive word, it’s simply a term that we want to learn, we want to do things in a straightforward and understandable way.

We don’t want to read any paper (it costs too much time and headache), we don’t want to learn things in a hard & dry way (too boring, sleepy).

We always want to learn things in the easiest way.

As a person whose mother tongue isn’t English, whenever I try to learn new stuff, found some websites where people use a lot of academic vocabulary, fancy wordings, etc. It just makes me close their topic or article in seconds.

DummyTechDev is here to share knowledge about coding, and technologies in a “peasant” form, where people can easily learn the beauty of the technologies without any hassle.

What topics will DummyTechDev offer?

We will try to do our best to write various kinds of topics, including:

  • Backend
  • Frontend
  • Server & DevOps
  • Libraries & Frameworks (news, upgrade, etc)
  • (Optional) AI/LLM

We won’t just focus on 1 language or 1 framework, we will try to write as many as we can ❤️.

It’s not only normal learning articles, we would also share the best practices, follow community standards, etc.
